GETTING STARTED

A few steps.
A lot of possibilities.

A practical introduction to the current Bootio workspace. Packaged installation instructions will accompany the commercial release.

1. Choose how to begin

Create a blank project, choose a predefined template, use a personal startup template or import an existing website. Imported sites may need adjustments for external dependencies and server behavior.

2. Choose the project type

Static projects focus on HTML, styles and scripts. Dynamic projects add PHP workflows, routes and data features. Pick the type that fits the hosting environment you plan to use.

3. Build the page

Use Studio to browse and search components. Use Overview to find, select and organize elements. Appearance, Options and Animation control the selected element. Resize or collapse side panels to focus on the tools you need.

4. Keep your work

Save your project file regularly. Local snapshots help with recovery, but are not a replacement for durable backups. Save personal component families when you want to reuse an element in another project.

5. Preview and verify

Use local preview to test navigation, responsive behavior and interactive components. Designer views keep editing safe and differ from live preview. PHP preview executes project PHP with user-level access; preview only code you trust.

6. Prepare website settings

Set your deployed URL, default metadata, social images and favicon. Review page indexing, sitemap inclusion and overrides. Verify structured data against the actual page content and search-engine requirements.

7. Export for your own hosting

Export your website files. Static hosting can serve HTML, CSS, scripts and assets. Dynamic projects need compatible PHP, database and web server configuration. Test forms, uploads and routes on the destination server.

Optional services

Commercial licensing is still in development.

The planned license covers two devices with 30-day offline entitlement grace. Account registration, sandbox checkout and test device activation are available at /account and /cart. In the desktop app, choose Account and approve the device code in your browser. Email recovery and signed installer details remain in development.
